As I'm sure everyone knows by now, all judicial avenues are closed to the Schindlers.
The last recourse is for Jeb Bush to risk impeachment by taking state action to rescue Terri Schiavo.

I hate to have to point this out, but Jeb Bush has turned into Terri's Pontius Pilate. He had a chance to save Terri (via the executive branch jurisdiction) but for some reason asked the judiciary in Florida for permission in enforcing executive discretion.
All he had to do was order law enforcement to take over cusrtody of Terri, reinsert her feeding tube and allow her to live while the certain arguments over Jeb's authority played out.
Instead he asked the Florida judiciary and they said no.
What a shame.

JAS, you're right. We've been wondering, too, why he didn't just issue an Executive Order. Or for that matter, President Bush could do the same thing. Clinton issued dozens of them, especially just before leaving office, and for much poorer reasons that this.
Very sad.
