Just what I asked for!
Drudge had big red letters:
IT'S A GO: IRAQ WAR SHOWDOWN IN CONGRESS: VOTE ON TROOP PULLOUTInstpundit has this:
THIS IS INTERESTING: "House Republicans, sensing an opportunity for political advantage, maneuvered for a quick vote and swift rejection Friday of a Democratic lawmaker's call for an immediate troop withdrawal from Iraq."Let's hope the vote is overwhelmingly in favor of supporting the president.
UPDATE: "A spine is detected."
We need to finish the job in Iraq, and make sure the terrorists all know that we will not cut and run. We are not the America of the Clinton years; this time, we will do the right thing.

I agree with you. Check out what I wrote to someone on their blog you might appreciate it..........
........I am so sick and tired of people who bash Bush and offer no resolve. Blame, Blame, Blame, Blame, Blame. It's your right though am I correct? Freedom Of Speech! Well, let me answer some questions . Theses are FACTS and not assumptions. Read on.....
About a week ago I got in to a heated e-mail for e-mail discussion with a young man after reading his blog and he is claiming that the Iraq war was invented and he knew a lot about politics from school and the media. He said a few choice words and it angered me a bit. Here is what I wrote back to him:
First of all how was Iraq invented? Tell me that. Where do you get your information from? I have a feeling I know where. The problem here is that there will always be people like you, the ANTI EVERYTHING GROUP, angry about everything, complain about everything yet at 23 years old YOU and others like you claim to know everything. I know a lot more about this war than you Mr. History buff. By no means am I pounding my chest here but understand that I served during Operation Desert Storm, Operation Determined Resolve, Desert Fox to name a few so I understand what you may not. I have been all around the world learning first hand from different cultures their political and social views. I am in the military now as well as a Reservist so I know more than I am allowed to talk about to people like yourself who want immediate answers to several questions than in many cases are not answered due to classified information. One example is WMD. You, don't know anything except from what you hear from the media. The media? If you knew even a portion of what a lot of the people that really do know what's going on, you would not think the way you think. Unfortunately you and others like you will continue to speculate on issues that you have no factual foundation. CNN and John Stewart and the rest of the liberal left know only what they know by reading or agreeing with the mainstream because it sounds good. By reading your blog and what you wrote in it, I can tell you this, you are a young well educated (by teachings and books alone, no experience) college graduate and nothing more. You have no experience in this matter at all, you don't have real life experience yet and you know only what you read in either your school, the media or wherever else you get your information. You can't win the argument so try as you may you know nothing with substance! Check mate, go back to your reading young man.
Oh and by the way do you support the troops? If so then let them finish their job and shut the hell up. It's people like you who bring their spirits down when they hear your crappola on TV and evrywhere else.
C'mon, stop hiding and tell us how you really feel....! Seriously, though, thank you for your service.
Now really, is it this kid's fault if they taught him in school that if there really were WMDs in Iraq, all we had to do was ask politely and that nice Mr. Hussein would have just given us a map with all the facilities marked with big red X's (or maybe skull-and-crossbones smiley faces...?)I don't think PBS is the only network currently running College of the Air, do you? How did we let MSM get such a death-grip on this country?
Heard the Clintons were overseas bashing the president and the effort in Iraq. So Fonda-like...
