This is such a good lesson in how mainstream media corrupts and pollutes and distorts.
Even I had begun to think that Sarah Palin was a bad choice for VP. I'd started to drink the mainstream Kool-Aid; the relentless attacks had taken their toll. I, too, was wondering, "Where is she? Why are they hiding her? Have they discovered that she is a disaster?"
And then tonight she came out and won the most important debate of this election.
She was fantastic. She's qualified. She's smart.
I pray that it's enough to turn the tide for McCain.

Maybe Sarah Palin is the October Surprise

The original date for the Troopergate investigation was October 31st, this was set over a year before Palin was a VP candidate. After the candidacy was announced and concerned that this would be unfair to McCain's campaign and that it might deliver an "October Surprise", the judge allowed the date to be pushed up expressly so that McCain had time to respond. I hope that works out for them! I think Oct 31 is worse.
I think this sums up yesterdays debate...(click image for larger version)

Anonymous: I don't know. I hope it will be OK. But I do know that the "Troopergate" investigation is hopelessly tainted by the Dems. Note this picture of AK Senator Hollis French at an Obama event. Hollis French is closely connected with the guy Palin fired, Walter Monegan. Nice, huh?
Actually what I'd meant in my post was that Sarah Palin was the positive October surprise because she did so well, but you're right, there still may be one of those nasty October Surprises that torpedoes McCain's campaign even more.
And to mike for president: Interesting summary!
