The day that our daughter came home from Korea was just five days before we left for our annual week "Up North". We stay at this little family resort, with quaint housekeeping cabins (cottages, as they call them) and an absolutely adorable, authentically retro tavern, on the most gorgeous piece of property in the entire state.
In my humble opinion.
Anyway, that was a busy week getting ready for the cabin. (Or, "the cabinet", as the girls used to say when they were little.)
We had a fantastic week: swimming, kayaking, shopping, reading, relaxing, and lots of card-playing in the evening.
We came home a week ago today, and since then it's been non-stop: unpacking, doing laundry, catching up on mail, going to the kids' baseball games, having my annual curriculum planning discussion with St. Thomas Aquinas Academy, and moving my Dad out of the nursing home into a nicer place (more of an assisted living facility; actually a CBRF for those who know about these things).
Obviously, not a lot of room for blogging in my life these days.
But today, I came across this little gem of a video, courtesy of The Anchoress (who, as always, is terrific, and if you read just one blog, it should be hers.)
