Things I don't understand

I checked Sitemeter recently and find a bunch of referrals from Google image searches, all pointing to this page. And I mean lots of referrals... about 90% of the hits to this blog are coming from those image searches. Why? I don't get it.

Then, I started getting comments on the blog. Someone asked for permission to use my photos in a school calendar ... but she didn't leave an email address so I can't even get back to her.

Someone else asked for information about the famine in Korea, and yet another person commented on this post about Peter Singer.

This is quite a mystery; a blog that had been dormant for so long, suddenly attracting comments, and searches for pictures of fall colors... I don't get it.

Must be a Google bug, I was referred to this page by a "quantum dot bulb" Google alert.

I use Google referrals as a news detector. There are a couple of ongoing stories I follow (but not too closely) and when I see a number of google referrals landing on Blogger Beer looking for info on those stories I do some digging.

My pix of Wafa Dafour (Osama Bin Laden's niece) draw regular visitors as do my fox photographs, and a blog I wrote years ago commenting on another's blog about ied-makers, ied-emplacers, and ied-triggermen.
