"Let me Google that for you"

Here's the phrase I Googled last night. Go ahead, click on that link.... let me google that for you... :)

It led me to a very cool site, Cookthink, with a great idea for a light and easy dinner for a bunch of tired but hungry people: ham, Swiss, and sliced pear pita sandwiches, grilled golden brown just till the cheese got a little melty. Mmmmm.

For my non-ham-eaters, we also made turkey, provolone, and Granny Smith pitas. Just as delicious.

That sounds like an awesome way to celebrate the day! I would have loved that in school.

On an unrelated note, I'm hosting a Pampered Chef party on Sat., Mar 13 at noon. My college friend Abby does Pampered Chef shows, and I'm using it as an excuse to show off my new place! I'm not expecting anyone to buy anything, I just want to invite people over to have a good time. My parents and maternal grandparents will be there, and they're all conservatives (!!), so you will be in good company.

I know you're busy, so I'd understand if you can't make it. But I definitely wanted to invite you!

Let me know if you'd like me to send you an invitation!

Hey Lori! I would love an invitation to the party .... though at this point I can't say for sure if I could be there. The kids have piano auditions that day, plus John has a basketball tournament, and we don't know the times for either of those events yet! But go ahead and put me on the list, thank you!!

Whoops, I had intended to leave that comment on the post after this one, so all this time I was checking the wrong one!

I will send you the e-invite very shortly!

Hi again!

The auditions are later in the afternoon, so I think I could pop over for a couple hours... but if we find out there's a basketball game scheduled around that time, I'll let you know. Do you know if Pampered Chef still sells a can opener? A friend told me it's the best one ever.
